Besides being a design house, we also ship products for neurodivergent communities.

Light breaking into a cave mouth surrounded by greenery

A Hong Kong design studio. Run by one person who draws it and ships it.

01 What is CAVELAB?

A quiet place where things get built.

A cave is where you go to concentrate. A lab is where you make things and test them. CAVELAB is both: we design digital products and websites for companies and early-stage teams, and on the lab side we build and ship our own apps.

02 Why CAVELAB?

Because the person who draws it is the person who ships it.

A beautiful Figma file, and a build that looks nothing like it.

Designers & developers translating each other badly → early teams paying twice to fix the gap between the two.

No handoff. No translation loss. What you approve in design is what arrives in code, because nothing changes hands in between.

03 Who is behind CAVELAB?

One designer, one lamp, one cave.

CAVELAB is run from Hong Kong by Zoe Lam, a designer who also writes the code. The name is the whole philosophy: a quiet place where you can concentrate and build your own things.

The studio side exists because early-stage teams deserve design that survives contact with engineering. The lab side exists because some tools we needed did not exist yet, so we made them, and we publish them for anyone whose brain works the way ours do.

Our Products

The neurodivergent community needs more software made for it: focus tools, calm tools, tools that respect how attention actually works.

That is why GRIP was our first product.

Where does the story go next?

  1. Test our products. GRIP is waiting for you.
  2. Bring us a problem. One email is enough. Tell us what you are building and where it hurts.
